3v3 Soccer Jam Tournament

Saturday March 21st will see the first annual 3v3 Soccer Jam Tournament being held at the Cadillac High School Performance Gym starting at 9:00 am until 6:30 pm.

19 teams, 74 players in 5 divisions will play this weekend to be crowned champion of the hardwood floors at the Cadillac High School Performance Gym. This tournament will be a good warm up for the upcoming GVSA season and a good end to our winter Back Yard Soccer program.

This tournament is all about the kids. There will be no coaches at all on the sidelines to encourage the kids to make their own decisions and just have fun. Parents are welcome but will be placed out of the way in a spectator role. Come cheer on your kids and encourage them to play hard and have a great time doing it.

Thanks to Jenny Hoaglund at Above and Beyond Screen Printing we will have drinks, snacks, and a lunch available for purchase during the Tournament. She will also be offering custom shirts and hoodies with the tournament graphics on them so make sure to stop in and see what she has to offer.

All you need to bring to the tournament:

  • Indoor Gym Shoes
  • Water
  • Jersey to match your team

We will supply the futsal balls, refs and fun. We look forward to seeing you this weekend!

U10 Girls Academy Finishes the Season on a Strong Note

The 2013/2014 Girls U10 Academy finished the season with some wins in Traverse City.  The season was a huge success as it far exceeded my expectations both as a parent and as volunteer coach.  A special thanks to Coach Jen , Coach Luke , The CSA  members and the Parents who did an outstanding  job making this a great experience.  As a testament to the success of the program every player involved in the Girls U10 Academy signed up to play next season.

CSA’s New Website

The Cadillac Soccer Association with the help of Kevin Mist and kMist Design have unveiled the new CSA website. In an attempt to organize all of the info on the site and present it in an easy to navigate manner Kevin and the CSA board have worked together to bring an easy to navigate site for you to use. We have added a new blog feature to give teams a chance to inform the rest of the community of their accomplishments and give the CSA a place to give articles and training tips.

If you have any suggestions, corrections, or have an article you would like published,  please feel free to contact the Board or Kevin at kMist Design.
